My recent stay at Essen-Nord Hotel left me pondering the balance between luxury and affordability. While the hotel is positioned reasonably well, offering free parking and a decent wi-fi connection, the experience didn't quite meet expectations. The room was spacious with a flat-screen TV and air conditioning, making it a comfortable place to crash after a long day of exploring. The bathroom facilities were inevitably underwhelming-think cramped, ferry-like dimensions and a lack of basic amenities. For the price point, it serves as a bed but don't expect much beyond that. If you're on a budget, it may suffice, but remember: real value may lie elsewhere.
